Moduły SFP+ Zyxel XGS4600 losowo przestają nadawać po firmware 4.50; DDM pokazuje TX power -inf i 0 mA bias
Na switchach Zyxel XGS4600 transceivery SFP+ 10G i 1G (w tym FS.com DWDM-SFP10G-80) okresowo przestawały nadawać; tylko wyjęcie i ponowne włożenie modułu przywracało link. Statystyki transceivera w tym momencie pokazywały TX power -inf dBm, napięcie na progu alarmu low 3.00 V i TX bias 0.00 mA. Disable/enable portu nie dawało efektu. Problem zaczął się po aktualizacji do 4.50(ABBI.1); downgrade do 4.40(ABBI.2) zatrzymywał wypadanie linku, ale psuł wyświetlanie informacji o transceiverze. Najbardziej dotknięte były jednostki 32F w stosie, zwłaszcza member 3.

Zyxel concluded the cause was signal instability of the third-party transceivers depending on their hardwaer design/IC vendor and recommended Zyxel-branded modules; the issue remained unresolved.
