Módulo de cobre 10Gtek ASF-10G-T: ethtool -m devuelve Operation not supported hasta actualizar el firmware de la NIC

Un cliente con un transceptor 10Gtek ASF-10G-T 10GBASE-T no podía leer su EEPROM: ethtool -m ens802f0 devolvía Cannot get module EEPROM information: Operation not supported. El fabricante lo atribuyó a una incompatibilidad entre las versiones del firmware de la NIC y del transceptor. Hardware implicado: NIC 10G (sin especificar), 10Gtek ASF-10G-T 10GBASE-T.
