DAC SFP Dell desabilitado como não suportado no Catalyst 9500-48Y4C; Cisco SFP-H25G-CU3M funciona
O autor conectou um servidor Dell a um Cisco Catalyst C9500-48Y4C (IOS XE 17.9.3) usando um DAC Dell L56SF018-SD-R de 3 m (DAC-SFP-3M). O cabo não está na matriz de compatibilidade de óptica da Cisco, e o 'show interface status' mostra a porta TwentyFiveGigE1/0/35 como err-disabled. O log mostra '%TRANSCEIVER-6-INSERTED: C1/0: iomd: transceiver module inserted in TwentyFiveGigE1/0/35' seguido de '%TRANSCEIVER-3-NOT_SUPPORTED: C1/0: iomd: Detected for transceiver module in TwentyFiveGigE1/0/35, module disabled'. Habilitar 'service unsupported-transceiver' globalmente e configurar 'fec cl108' não mudou nada. O autor perguntou se existe algum workaround para o cabo Dell.

Use um DAC da matriz de transceptores da Cisco para essa plataforma, por exemplo os cabos SFP28 25G SFP-H25G-CU1M, SFP-H25G-CU2M, SFP-H25G-CU3M ou SFP-H25G-CU5M (suportados desde o IOS XE 16.8.1).
O cabo Dell L56SF018-SD-R deve ser tratado como incompatível com o C9500-48Y4C.
Comprei cabos SFP-H25G-CU3M da matriz de compatibilidade e o link subiu.
