Juniper-branded SFP modules कभी-कभार किसी EX या MX device के boot होने के फ़ौरन बाद chassis hardware output में unsupported या not supported रिपोर्ट होते थे। device reboot करने या SFP reseat करने पर module दोबारा पहचान में आ जाता था, जो production में परेशान करने वाला था। Poster जानना चाहता था कि यह configuration की दिक्कत है (जैसे SFP+ ports को explicit 1G speed setting चाहिए) या hardware/software का bug।

सबसे ज़्यादा संभावना यही है कि यह configuration नहीं बल्कि transient hardware/detection issue है; optics को ports के बीच घुमाओ और modules swap करो, यह देखने के लिए कि fault module के साथ जाता है या port के साथ रहता है।
show chassis hardware और show chassis pic का output इकट्ठा करो और अगर यह दोबारा हो तो एक JTAC case खोलो; मुमकिन वजहें हैं transient detection failure, SFP/SFP+ mismatch, या platform-specific support gaps।
