El Aruba 2540 sigue rechazando los DAC Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU3M después de allow-unsupported-transceiver
El autor quería conectar switches Aruba 2540 (JL357A, firmware YC.16.09.0001) a switches Cisco Catalyst 9300 usando DAC Cisco SFP-H10GB-CU3M. Después de habilitar allow-unsupported-transceiver los cables seguían sin reconocerse: show tech transceivers listaba el puerto como no soportado, el LED parpadeaba en naranja y el log decía port 52 Transceiver type not supported in this port. El autor asumió que el comando debería hacer que cualquier DAC funcionara.

allow-unsupported-transceiver solo deja que el switch intente con un módulo; HPE documenta que no hay garantía de que las piezas de terceros funcionen y el soporte puede ser rechazado. Habilita el registro de depuración para ver por qué se rechaza el DAC.
Desistí de los DAC y en su lugar usé ópticas de fibra SFP+ LC (o LACP sobre otros enlaces).
