HPE 2920에서 정품 J9283B DAC인데도 Transceiver type not supported in this port가 뜸

J9731A 10G 확장 모듈이 꽂힌 HPE 2920(J9729A, 펌웨어 WB.15.17.0009)을, 정품 HPE X242 3m SFP+ DAC(J9283B)로 560SFP+ NIC가 달린 DL380 Gen8에 연결했다. J9150A SR 모듈을 꽂은 A1 포트는 동작했지만, DAC를 꽂은 A2 포트는 Transceiver type not supported in this port를 로그에 남기며 다운 상태로 있었다. 글쓴이는 케이블, 모듈, 펌웨어 중 뭐가 문제인지 알고 싶어 했다.

J9283B는 J9731A 모듈에서 지원돼요. 정품이 아닌 케이블이라면 allow-unsupported-transceiver가 필요한데(WB.16.02부터 제공), 일단 펌웨어부터 올리고 재부팅해보세요.

DAC와 SR 모듈을 A1, A2 사이에서 서로 바꿔서 문제가 케이블을 따라가는지 보세요. 따라간다면 케이블 불량이니 보증으로 교체받으세요.
