FortiGate 500E affiche « This port is using a third-party transceiver » : avertissement ou erreur ?
Un FortiGate 500E affichait le message « This port is using a third-party transceiver » sur un port SFP+ ; l'auteur du post demandait ce que cela signifiait et quelle spécification SFP+ utiliser. Il n'y avait ni erreur ni problème de lien, seulement cette ligne de log, donc la vraie question était de savoir si ça signale un défaut, dégrade le support constructeur, ou si c'est purement cosmétique quand une optique non-Fortinet est utilisée.

It is informational, not an error; third-party modules can work. Fortinet support may refuse to help if a third-party transceiver is even remotely involved in a problem, so official Fortinet transceivers are recommended.
