UCG-Fiber with a UACC-CM-RJ45-MG never recovers the link after the far-end Zyxel XS1930 reboots; DAC fixed it
A UCG-Fiber used a UACC-CM-RJ45-MG 10GBASE-T module (port 6, later port 7) to reach a Zyxel XS1930. Whenever the copper cable was disconnected for more than about 40 s or the Zyxel rebooted, the link never came back until the module was pulled for a minute or the gateway rebooted; forcing 10G or 1G on both ends did not change it.

Multi-gig RJ45 modulees perform two negotiations and run hot; use a passive SFP+ DAC (Ubiquiti does not vendor-lock DACs, an SFP28 uplink cable is unnecessary). The poster installed a 2 m H!Fiber DAC, locked both ends to 10G without negotiation, and the link recovered reliably after every reboot or power cycle.
