Proxmox di Dell R720 dengan X520 rNDC: ixgbe allow_unsupported_sfp=1 tidak berpengaruh untuk modul Cisco SR

Dell R720 dengan daughter card i350/X520 terintegrasi menjalankan Proxmox VE; modul SFP+ LC multimode 10G bermerek Cisco yang jalan normal di tempat lain ditolak sebagai unsupported. Menambahkan options ixgbe allow_unsupported_sfp=1 ke module options tidak memberi efek terlihat. Yang menjawab menelusuri parameter kernel GRUB (/etc/default/grub plus grub-mkconfig), mengecek EFI boot dengan fdisk -l, dan jalur systemd-boot (/etc/kernel/cmdline dengan ixgbe.allow_unsupported_sfp=1 diikuti pve-efiboot-tool refresh), tapi penanya melaporkan semuanya tidak berhasil.
