EdgeSwitch ES-24, HP/Netgear/Juniper/Cisco से 1G SX SFPs पर तब तक link नहीं करता जब तक peer पर auto-negotiation disable ना हो
नए आए EdgeSwitch ES-24 units आपस में gigabit SX SFPs पर link हो गए, पर वही modules (HP J4858B, J4858A, Avago AFBR-57M5APZ, Avaya AFBR5715PZ, Cisco) ES-24 को HP ProCurve (चार models) या Netgear (दो models) से link नहीं करते थे: ES-24 पर link light आती थी, दूसरी तरफ नहीं। बाकी users ने इसे Juniper MX routers (optic को light मिलने की पुष्टि हुई) और एक Cisco 3560 के खिलाफ भी reproduce किया।

Ubiquiti staff: HP/Netgear/Juniper/Cisco की तरफ auto-negotiation disable करो और 1 Gbps (full duplex) पर force करो; इससे कई users के links up हो गए और एक firmware fix test हो रहा था।
Stackable Netgear units पर confirm कर लो कि SFP+ slot Ethernet mode में है, stack mode में नहीं (show stack-port); एक HP user को speed नहीं बल्कि forced full duplex चाहिए था।
