Arista CLI से third-party tunable DWDM SFP+ tune नहीं होता: wavelength कभी बदलता ही नहीं

Poster के पास एक Arista switch में एक Integra Optics tunable DWDM SFP+ (1528.77-1566.72 nm, 96 channels, 80 km, 10G, Calix/Arista compatible बताकर बेचा गया) था। Arista CLI से frequency बदलने और ITU channel configure करने का कोई असर नहीं हुआ: module वही wavelength report करता रहा। सवाल यह था कि क्या third-party tunable optics को EOS से बिल्कुल tune किया जा सकता है या module को supplier से पहले ही pre-tuned होना चाहिए।
