CWDM link: 1310 nm channel काम करता है, नया 1471 nm channel अच्छे light levels के बावजूद कोई traffic carry नहीं करता

दो service providers CWDM multiplexers के साथ एक fibre share करते थे. मौजूदा 1310 nm channel काम कर रहा था, लेकिन 1471 nm channel जोड़ने के बाद transmit करने वाली तरफ frames निकलते दिखे (packet captures से confirm हुआ) जबकि दूर वाले सिरे को कुछ नहीं मिला, हालांकि light levels normal लग रहे थे. Provider पहले ही testing के लिए पूरी fibre disconnect कर चुका था, जिससे काम कर रहा transit channel भी नीचे चला गया. Poster ने पूछा कि कैसे पता लगाएं कि गड़बड़ SFPs में है, jumpers में, mux filters में या fibre में.
