TP-Link TL-SM311LM con un SkyLane SFP en un Netgear GS716T: lado TP-Link arriba, lado Netgear abajo, throughput de 1 Mbps

Un TP-Link T1700G-28TQ (V3, firmware 3.0.0) con un módulo TL-SM311LM se enlazó a un Netgear ProSafe GS716T con un módulo SkyLane SFP85P55GE0B989. El puerto TP-Link mostraba 1000M con el LED parpadeando mientras el puerto Netgear se quedaba abajo, y el throughput era de alrededor de 1 Mbps; con un conversor de medios el enlace funcionó al instante, y el módulo TP-Link funcionaba con otros equipos. Ambos puertos estaban puestos en 1000M.
