Kernel SFP quirk for the ODI DFP-34X-2C2 GPON ONU: force 2500BASE-X when the EEPROM does not advertise it
An ODI DFP-34X-2C2 GPON ONU SFP failed to advertise its 2500BASE-X capability because its EEPROM (or virtual EEPROM) did not provide correct speed information to the Linux sfp driver, so the interface did not run at the expected rate. A kernel patch adds a quirk to force the right speed. Hardware involved: Linux host with sfp cage, ODI DFP-34X-2C2 GPON ONU, Huawei MA5671A, Fiberstone GPON-ONU-34-20BI.
- Hardware: Linux host with sfp cage
- Transceivers: ODI DFP-34X-2C2 GPON ONU, Huawei MA5671A, Fiberstone GPON-ONU-34-20BI
- Form factor: SFP
Symptoms / messages:
module does not advertise 2500BASE-X
interface at wrong speed

Apply the sfp_quirk_2500basex quirk for this module (Huawei MA5671A and Fiberstone GPON-ONU-34-20BI additionally need sfp_fixup_ignore_tx_fault); GPON ONU sticks are configured by the OLT, and the real issue is incomplete EEPROM speed data.
