Looking for GPON/XGS-PON ONT SFP sticks with integrated MAC that work in Cisco routers

The poster is searching for GPON or XGS-PON SFP ONT sticks with a built-in MAC that work in Cisco routers, since Cisco does not sell such modules. Previous attempts with third-party ONT sticks were largely unsuccessful even after enabling 'service unsupported-transceiver'. In a follow-up the poster asked whether DOM is readable with the modules other members had mentioned and whether the unsupported-transceiver command is required at all, said that FS.com modules would be tested first, and reported that Alturna/Solid Optics had indicated their PON transceiver business might be discontinued. Two other members marked that they had the same problem.

  • Hardware: unspecified Cisco routers
  • Transceivers: third-party GPON ONT SFP stick with MAC (unspecified), third-party XGS-PON ONT SFP+ stick with MAC (unspecified)
  • Form factor: SFP, SFP+

Symptoms / messages:

third-party GPON/XGS-PON ONT sticks not working in Cisco routers despite service unsupported-transceiver
no Cisco-branded PON ONT SFP available

The only reply captured is the poster's own follow-up thanking members for suggestions (the suggestions themselves are missing from the dump) and stating they would test FS.com PON sticks next; no working router/stick combination was confirmed.
