Intel X552(FreeNAS)와 Mellanox ConnectX-3(ESXi)를 Mellanox DAC로 연결: 양쪽 다 no carrier

온보드 Intel X552 SFP+ 포트(Xeon D)가 있는 FreeNAS 장비와 Mellanox ConnectX-3(MT27500, Dell Y3KKR)가 있는 ESXi 6.7 호스트를 2014년산 Mellanox MCP2104-X003B 패시브 DAC 두 개로 연결했습니다. 각 장비를 자기 자신에게 루프백하면 포트가 올라왔지만, 두 시스템 사이에서는 ESXi에 Disconnected가, FreeNAS에는 No Carrier가 떴습니다. hw.ixgbe.unsupported_sfp와 hw.ix.unsupported_sfp 튜너블을 설정하고, ESXi에서는 auto-negotiation을 끄고 FreeNAS에서는 mediaopt로 강제해봤지만 모두 효과가 없었습니다. 이 글에는 답글이 달리지 않았습니다.
