V-SOL EPON OLT और MikroTik CCR2004/CRS326 के बीच SFP+ DAC तब तक disconnected रहता है जब तक speed force न की जाए
SFP+ DACs ने MikroTik-to-MikroTik और OLT-to-OLT link किया, पर एक V-SOL EPON OLT 16008D और एक CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS या CRS326-24G-2S+RM के बीच OLT ने interface को disconnected report किया। वही DACs दोनों platforms पर पहचाने गए, तो poster को एक खराब cable की बजाय MikroTik के SFP+/SFP28 port और OLT के बीच cross-vendor auto-negotiation या speed-advertisement mismatch पर शक था।

दोनों सिरों पर speed explicitly set करो (10G या 1G)। इससे काम बन गया, और पता चला कि OLT का SFP+ port GE/10GE specification के बावजूद असल में 1000M तक सीमित था, तो poster ने vendor से replacement मांगा।
