UniFi US-16-XG एक नए Tehuti TN9310 NIC वाले SFP+ link पर Rx fault दिखाता है
एक UniFi 16XG switch और एक Tehuti Networks TN9310 SFP+ adapter के बीच पहली बार SFP+ deployment में, reseller के compatible बताए transceivers के साथ, UniFi controller में Rx fault का indication आया। fibre ends बदलने (polarity) से मदद नहीं मिली। शामिल hardware: Ubiquiti US-16-XG, Tehuti TN9310, 10G SFP+ (reseller-supplied pair)।

खराब cable या crossed strands चेक करो, wavelength या optic types का mismatch देखो, या फिर UniFi incompatibility हो सकती है।
असल वजह शायद NIC थी: Tehuti card को एक proprietary driver चाहिए और उसमें XCP-ng support था ही नहीं, तो host साइड ने अपना transmitter कभी जलाया ही नहीं, जिसे switch ने Rx fault के तौर पर report किया; poster ने एक Intel SFP+ NIC पर shift करने का फ़ैसला किया।
