Aruba Instant On 1930 का dashboard, traffic pass करने वाले third-party D-NET LX modules के साथ SFP+ ports को DOWN दिखाता है
एक Aruba 1930 (JL685A, software 2.6.0) पर SFP+ ports 49 और 50 में लगे दो D-NET DN-SFP-LX modules असल में traffic ले जा रहे थे, फिर भी web dashboard दोनों ports को DOWN दिखा रहा था, और बिना CLI के poster यह check नहीं कर सका कि modules पहचाने गए या नहीं। सवाल यह था कि क्या यह कोई bug है, एक incompatibility है, या कोई missing update, और क्या इस web-managed platform पर third-party acceptance toggle की जा सकती है।

मैं यह निष्कर्ष निकाल रहा हूं कि ये modules unsupported हैं: ये काम करते हैं, पर switch कोई port information नहीं दिखाता। supported list J4858D, J4859D, J8177D, J9150D, J9281D और J9283D है। HPE ने मुझे बस Airheads community की तरफ भेज दिया।
