Non-Juniper SFP+/SFP modules EX2300-24P के किसी भी port में detect नहीं होते पर EX2300-48P में ठीक चलते हैं
non-Juniper SFP+/SFP modules के साथ एक EX2300-48P और एक EX2300-24P (दोनों Junos 18.2R3-S5.3) stage करते वक्त, 48-port switch ने transceivers पहचान लिए और interfaces बना दिए, पर 24-port switch ने अपने चारों uplink ports में से किसी में भी कुछ नहीं दिखाया; show chassis hardware ने PIC 1 को 4x10G SFP/SFP+ के रूप में बिना किसी transceiver entry के list किया। switches के बीच modules बदलने से behaviour नहीं बदला, और logs में modules फिर से लगाने पर सिर्फ STP topology changes दिखे।

Root cause एक cabling गलती थी: modules test stack के तीसरे switch में लग रहे थे, 24P में नहीं; सही unit में रखते ही module तुरंत up हो गया।
identical Junos versions verify करो और detection errors के लिए /var/log/messages और /var/log/chassisd चेक करो।
