Intel support ने कहा कि linked article ही X520 series के लिए एकमात्र compatibility list है, कि third-party modules recommend नहीं किए जाते क्योंकि वो चलें भी सकते हैं और नहीं भी, और article की वो बात quote की कि SFP+ optics के दूसरे brands X520 के साथ काम नहीं करते और listed Intel SFP+ SR या LR optics ही use करने होंगे.
Support ने या तो नए खरीदे X520-SR2 को X520-DA2 plus दो Intel E10GSFPLR modules से बदलने का सुझाव दिया, या फिर सीधे E10GSFPLR (LR product code के तौर पर confirm हुआ) खरीदकर उन्हें X520-SR2 में लगाने का, क्योंकि dual-port adapter में supported SFP+ optics, SFP modules और DACs का कोई भी मिश्रण लगाया जा सकता है; X520 के लिए supported OS lists के links भी दिए गए.
Arista या दूसरे third-party optics के बारे में - list से बाहर कुछ भी recommend नहीं किया जाता. क्या आप adapter की PBA markings post कर सकते हैं ताकि हम बता सकें कि ये retail card है या OEM?
