Baudcom GPON ONU SFP stick in a MikroTik hEX S registers on the OLT but the SFP WAN interface cannot route
Replacing the ISP ONU with a Baudcom DB-1234-SFM GPON SFP stick in a hEX S: the stick registered with the OLT and obtained an IP with the spoofed MAC, but with sfp1 as WAN pings returned network unreachable, although the same configuration on ether1 (behind the ISP ONU) worked and Winbox showed no module information for the SFP.

Incomplete DDM/DOM suppot of the stick explains the missing module info; make the sfp1 configuration identical to the working ether1 setup.
A bonding interface (active-backup of sfp1 and ether1 with a forced MAC) provided working internet access, with occasional DHCP renewal problems remaining.
