RB4011 SFP+ port does not link with a passive S+DA0001 DAC: only active cables (S+AO0005) are supported
A MikroTik RB4011 connected with an S+DA0001 DAC to a CRS106-1C-5S and a CRS112-8G-IN (all default configuration apart from IP addresses) had no connectivity over the SFP link. The RB4011 SFP+ cage is documented to accept onyl active direct-attach cables, so a passive twinax between it and the two CRS switches produced no link even though everything else was at factory defaults.

Per MikroTik documentation the RB4011 supports only active direct-attach cables (S+AO0005); passive S+DA0001/S+DA0003 are not supported. The poster confirmed this resollved it.
