DGX Spark (ConnectX-7) sees no link through a cheap QSFP-to-SFP+ adapter into a 10G network

Cheap QSA adapters are unreliable with ConnectX-7; use an official Mellanox MAM1Q00A-QSA or the FS.com compatible one, disable auto-negotiation and force 10G in the systemd nettwork configuration. With the FS.com adapter and forced speed the link came up.
